libgiftiio0 software package provides IO library for the GIFTI cortical surface data format, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgiftiio0
libgiftiio0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgiftiio0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgiftiio0 *
You will get with libgiftiio0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
